Mean Girls isn't a Christmas film per se but when thinking about dressing up in a festive theme, I can't help but think of Lindsay Lohan et al singing 'Jingle Bell Rock'. The four girls sing and dance on stage at the school's Winter talent show in very inappropriate (for school) festive costumes. They wear knee high heeled boots and black satin gloves to round off the look.

Victoria Beckham arrived in Finland yesterday to comfort David after his successful operation on Monday. David's Achilles injury has led high profile figures to send messages of support, with Gordon Brown contacting Becks and Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy writing a poem in tribute: you can read the poem after the jump. The surgeon who operated on David said Becks plans to return to London then LA today, while reports suggest the Beckhams will try for a girl now.

The relationship between mothers and their daughters is an incredibly strong one. Moms raising girls have the power to shape the next generation of women and those to come by teaching their kids important lessons.
That confidence and independence are beautiful.
That size doesn't matter, but wasting her time worrying about it does.
That brilliance should never be downplayed.
That emotions are liberating so she should go ahead and laugh, cry or scream.
To always have enough money to pay her own way, but to be gracious when someone else treats.

When you're heavy on top, finding a sports bra is downright frustrating. Most aren't made for women who are over a D cup — let alone DD-H. Even if you do manage to squeeze yourself into one, you end up with a very unattractive uniboob and barely there support.

This week on House, we deal with issues of trust in relationships, along with a head-scratcher of a medical case. My verdict: it makes for one really solid episode.
A high school senior is brought into Princeton-Plainsboro after she stops breathing and regurgitates liquid during a field trip.

Tina Fey captured the essence of high school girl-on-girl cruelty when she wrote the screenplay for Mean Girls. In the movie, Lindsay Lohan's character Cady describes how the queen of mean Regina George ruled her minion Gretchen, in addition to the whole school:
The meaner Regina was to her, the more Gretchen tried to win Regina back. She knew it was better to be in the plastics, hating life, than to not be in at all.

Can a $70 skin cream make us look like Gisele Bündchen? Probably not, but its eco-friendly bent could make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Today, the supermodel launches Sejaa, a 100-percent natural line by every stretch of the imagination, from the manufacturing process (windpower) down to the soy-based VOC-free inks used on the packaging.
