While this film wasn't "the funniest movie ever", as a friend proclaimed it, it was definitely entertaining. There were a handful of laugh til it hurts moments that won't be soon forgotten. I won't mention them here as to not ruin the surprise. Let's just say there are certain things that you should not do while high on mushrooms and those gross films about child birth you see in health class just got one-upped!

The entire cast is stellar and the writing is pretty funny throughout. Paul Rudd proves once again that he can steal a movie if you let him. Luckily he was reigned in just enough to let the leads shine. Katherine Heigl was charming and pretty ballsy in this, which bodes well for her maintaining a movie career. Seth Rogen managed to be loveable while at the same time frustrating in his idiocy. His gang of friends provided a hilarious backdrop for the "stoner" Romeo to his Juliet. My only real issue with the film is that unless you are one of the pretty people or a pot smoking slacker you really don't have someone to relate to in this. Not that you always need to relate, but some of the pot humor probably was funnier to those who spend all of their time at home high as a kite. Katherine Heigl's character is surrounded by her pretty, wealthy sister and her "problems".

Nonetheless, this is a solid romantic comedy with just enough over the top humor to get you rolling with laughter but keep it grounded in "some people's" reality. A must see, but you can probably wait for the DVD. Well, that is only true if your friends don't ruin all the funny parts for you before you get a chance to see it.
