Yahoo says:
"Tony Stark is a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man."
I say: The BEST superhero movie ever!!!! A great, entertaining story, excellently directed, the whole cast was outstanding. And I can't even stand Fishsticks Paltrow but the genius of Robert Downey Jr. totally made her bearable. I am so happy to see that he is out of drugs because he is an awesome actor!
Terrence "Buttwipe" Howard and Jeff Bridges were perfect in their roles, funny, witty and credible. Playing along in perfect sync with Robert Downey Jr.'s sarcastic humour.
AND IF YOU DIDN'T SUCK IT UP AND LEFT BEFORE THE CREDITS STOPPED ROLLING, YOU MISSED ONE WHOLE SCENE THAT WAS THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THIS WONDERFULLY CRAFTED, DELICIOUS, MOVIE!

Marni
Everybody go see it dammit!!!

I've seen it! It's very cool. And Tony Stark is HOT as hell. Geez

I saw Hulk last night, it's very nice too. I HEART Ed Norton, he's so cute!
And there's a little appearance of Tony Stark there. YUMMY!
By the way I live in Sao Paulo, not Rio so don't ask me if I live in that FAVELA that is shown on the movie, hahahahahaha,

4I loved this movie, and although Fishsticks was bearable, I think they could have cast someone MUCH better in that role.
5My bf has been wanting to see this. Now I'll go. Thanks for the info about staying past the credits!!
6It takes like forever Wren, and we were waiting at the movies with another couple, just us like 2 pairs of dorks, but it was worth it!

10YEYEYEYE! You FINALLY saw it. Didn't I TELL you that you'd love it! O I'm so happy you did
YEY!
Tae and I both saw it twice. For the end part, I'm
assuming you understood what it meant, right?
Also after that movie I am totally on a Robert Downey Jr high! I'm trying to watch every old movie of his I can see. Tae probably thinks I'm obsessed right now!
11Did you watch Zodiac? with Jake Gyllenhal. RDJr is a very consistent actor, and his pesonality fit Iron Man so well! I can't wait for whatever's coming

O no you didn't! You're gonna get me on my RJD kick now!
He is definitely very
consistent! I saw him in that, and I've recently watched: Less than Zero, Restoration, True Believer (he had a small role in this but it's my fav so far of his older movies), and Kiss Kiss
Bang Bang (he was such a cutie in this one! I thought the movie was okay, he was the best part!)
I'll be watching Chaplin soon and his next movie is Tropic Thunder w/Jack Black and Ben Stiller. I'm sure you've seen the promos already. It looks REALLY funny can't wait for it!
13I'm really sooo into him right now it's not funn!
14ohh Chaplin! I had forgotten that he was on that one, maybe his first big role, right? I saw on TV that his own father used to provide him with drugs because he thought that it would be hypocritical to deny his son when he himself was doing drugs...

His breakthrough role (when he first got noticed) was when he was in Less than Zero. He himself said that role was almost like a foreshadowing of the drug issues he'd have later in his life. I believe he got an Academey Award nomination for his role in Chaplin.
16REALLY!?! That's odd (about his father)
17REALLY!?! That's odd (about his father)
18I don't think I have seen that movie T... hmmmm
Odd? Horribly irresponsible to say the least
